1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of The Great Bangladeshi Experience and the booking of any experience through this website. By creating an account, requesting a booking, or making a payment, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

The Great Bangladeshi Experience is offered exclusively to travelers visiting from outside Bangladesh. You confirm your nationality when you create your account, and by booking you confirm that you are an international visitor. Accounts held by residents or nationals of Bangladesh are not eligible for experiences marked for international visitors, and bookings that do not meet this requirement may be declined.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account and make a booking.

3. How booking works

Booking is a concierge process, not an instant checkout. You add experiences to a cart and choose a date for each, then submit a request. We arrange a short planning meeting with you, and after that meeting we send a single custom price for your whole trip together with a window in which to pay.

You can reschedule the dates of your experiences at any point before you pay. A booking is confirmed only once payment is received in full.

4. Prices and payment

Experiences do not carry a fixed upfront price. The price we send after your planning meeting is set for your specific trip and covers the whole booking. Payment is taken in full through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not take deposits.

Each price is valid only within the payment window shown to you. If the window passes without payment, the price and the booking may expire, and a new price may need to be arranged.

5. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Before payment, you may change dates or cancel a request at no cost. After payment, cancellations and changes are handled case by case, and any refund depends on how close the change is to the travel date and on costs already committed to local providers on your behalf.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving accurate account and booking information, including the details that help us plan safely, such as dietary needs and an emergency contact. You are responsible for your own valid passport, visas, and any vaccinations or travel insurance required for your trip.

You agree to behave lawfully and respectfully during experiences and to follow reasonable safety instructions from our team and local guides.

7. Reviews and content you submit

When you leave a review, you grant The Great Bangladeshi Experience permission to display it on the website, including your first name, last initial, and country. We may choose which reviews to feature and may shorten a review for length without changing its meaning. Please keep reviews truthful and free of unlawful or offensive content.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its content, branding, and imagery belong to The Great Bangladeshi Experience or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for the reviews and information you submit, which remain yours subject to the permission described above.

9. Experiences and liability

Some experiences depend on weather, wildlife, river conditions, and seasonal availability, and may be adjusted or rescheduled for safety or for reasons outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Great Bangladeshi Experience is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of Bangladesh. [Confirm the governing law and venue with your lawyer, especially where customers are based abroad.]

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
